Our 2nd site in Alva was completed during late 2022 providing Accubio with additional 14500sqft of space. This consisted of refitting existing local building to provide capacity of 2 warehouse areas and 1 central manufacturing area. The 2 warehouse areas will provide both a goods in facility for raw material to be received as well as a separate area for holding and shipping finished product. The overall facility will allow home to ~450 pallets of material and will allow material to be moved and stored between both Alva sites as required.
Our dedicated warehouse team operate from this facility to ensure we have a continuous flow of controlled material and components that allows us to produce our lateral flow products to deliver and ship product to meet customer expectations.
The central manufacturing area of the building provides our committed production department with a facility to support manufacture of our finished lateral flow devices which is done using a combination of modern automated equipment that combine sophisticated robotics and vision systems to ensure highest quality and efficiency before progressing through to our dextrous team at the final kitting process within this manufacturing area.
